In collaboration with Netflix, we brought the nostalgic yet spine-chilling world of Stranger Things to life in a 5-hour immersive experience attracting a total of 110k mullet and spandex clad attendees.

As a writer, I developed the original story of Hawkins into a new narrative and creative campaign including scripts, newsletters, editorial, ads, and web copy. All whilst staying true to the original IP and, even more importantly, its fans.

From tween boys on a monster hunt to Russian scientists without a conscience to 80s jazzercise instructors; the characters were as varied as the output. Each an absolute joy to write.

Hawkins High Yearbook on IG stories: Since no phones or cameras are allowed inside the show, word of mouth has always suffered. To extend the narrative outside of the show and help audience members show off their night in aesthetic way, we created a digital yearbook with prompts that you could easily fill out and post on your stories.
